About Mocha

Mocha is a calm and independent female cat looking for a foster or permanent adopter in Delhi NCR. She was previously abandoned, later found a loving home, and unfortunately now needs another home after almost a year because of conflict with the adopter's resident cats. According to her adopter, Mocha herself is calm around other cats. She previously lived around a friend's cat while the adopter was cat-sitting and showed no aggression, hissing or other problems. The difficulty appears to be with the resident cats, who do not get along well with other cats. Mocha has an independent personality and does not enjoy being constantly touched or handled. She prefers to decide when she wants affection. When she feels comfortable, she will approach people, rub against them and seek affection on her own terms. She also loves playing with balls. Mocha needs an adopter who understands that cats have different personalities and does not expect her to immediately become a cuddly lap cat. She would do best with someone patient and understanding who is willing to give her time, personal space and the freedom to build trust at her own pace. At present, Mocha is living in a small catio in a home that already has 9 cats and a small baby, leaving very little space for her. She has repeatedly tried to get out and has recently become withdrawn and has not been eating properly for several days. She urgently needs a quiet, spacious and patient home environment where she can decompress and feel secure. A shelter is not suitable for her. The rescuers are looking for a free foster home or permanent adopter in Delhi/NCR. If a suitable home cannot be found, the alternative may be returning Mocha to the area where she was originally found and continuing to monitor and feed her. If you are looking for an independent, shy or low-interaction cat for adoption in Delhi NCR, Mocha needs someone willing to understand and accept her personality rather than expecting immediate affection.
